1. Trench coat

A light mid-season coat with a belt, double-breasted fastening, and a turn-down collar. Often made of water-repellent fabric.
Suitable for: hourglass and pear body shapes — the belt highlights the waist.
Not suitable for: apple body shape, as the belt emphasizes the stomach.

2. Overcoat / Wool coat

A warm straight or slightly fitted coat, knee-length or longer. A versatile option for winter.
Suitable for: almost all body types, especially rectangle and apple — creates a slimmer silhouette.
Not suitable for: very short women if maxi length, as it visually “weighs down.”

3. Puffer coat (quilted coat)

A voluminous coat with down or synthetic filling, designed for cold winters.
Suitable for: tall and slim women — adds volume stylishly.
Not suitable for: petite and full figures — can make them look wider.

4. Duffle coat

A dense coat with a hood and toggle fastenings (wooden or plastic).
Suitable for: rectangle body shape and casual style — creates a soft and cozy look.
Not suitable for: hourglass — hides the waistline.

5. Cape coat

A sleeveless coat or with slits for the arms, resembling a cape.
Suitable for: tall women with slim arms — creates an elegant silhouette.
Not suitable for: short and curvy women — distorts proportions.

6. Shearling coat

Made of sheepskin: leather outside, wool inside. Very warm and cozy.
Suitable for: apple and rectangle body shapes — balances proportions.
Not suitable for: very slim women — can look too bulky.

7. Wrap coat (robe coat)

A soft coat without rigid fastening, tied with a belt. Feminine and elegant.
Suitable for: hourglass and pear — emphasizes the waist.
Not suitable for: apple — the belt highlights the stomach.

8. Peacoat

A short, double-breasted coat of dense fabric, inspired by navy uniforms.
Suitable for: rectangle body shape and petite women — creates a slimmer look.
Not suitable for: tall and broad women — may look too cropped.

9. Duster coat

A lightweight long coat, usually floor-length, without insulation.
Suitable for: tall women — emphasizes height and creates a dramatic silhouette.
Not suitable for: petite women — may make them look shorter.

10. Raglan coat

Characterized by a special sleeve cut starting from the collar and running diagonally to the underarm, creating a soft shoulder line.
Suitable for: inverted triangle — softens broad shoulders.
Not suitable for: pear — makes narrow shoulders look even smaller.
